The Purple Fiesta Horse plate by Michele

The Purple Fiesta Horse plate is 10" by 10" and made of four layers of fused glass from the System 96 Glass Pack. It was fused in my Skutt Firebox 14 kiln. This plate is 1/4" thick and has beautiful pink-purple dichroic glass accents from the Uroboros DicroMagic 96 Box sampler set. The horse is made of iridescent red glass. The back has epoxied rubber feet or it can be displayed on an easel/plate rack. The accents were all cut by hand while the horse was hand cut using a Taurus 3 glass saw. For the 24k gold accents I hand painted on Colorobbia liquid gold. I love horses and enjoy making plates and jewelry with the Delphi products. I have started a small business at http://www.GiddyUpCowgirl.com and I am just in love with my new hobby of fused glass!
