@glassdoc, Here are a couple of tips from Diamond Tech (the creators of the G2 Bottle Cutter)...There are a few reasons the rings may be cracking, the most common being that the rings are too thin, the lines are not completely scored or there is still residue from the label. We recommend that the rings be cut no smaller than ¾”, inspect the score lines and make sure no spots were skipped – if so, only score the area that was missed and make sure all of the residue is removed from the bottle prior to scoring it. Can someone please explain how to cut the glass rings for the windchime?? I can get the first cut, but any cuts after that crack:( Thanks
