Gryphon's core drill bits for glass artists feature the same high quality coating as their well-respected grinder bits. Diamond bits quickly and easily remove a complete circle in glass. Core bits work with a standard electric drill and only need water as a lubricant. 50mm core bit is equal to approximately 2". Features a 12mm shank.
Shown below are the packaging and examples of projects that can be created using core drill bits. Water lily table fountain by artist Teresa Batten was created with fused flower molds and assembled using a core drill bit to accommodate the fountain and water flow. Fused glass sink by artists Val Oswalt and Roy Kapp was created using a core drill bit to create the hole to accommodate plumbing.
