Pros : Lays the foil incredibly flat and smooth. Effortlessly seeks the foil to the glass.
Cons : The crimping isn’t ideal. I don’t even bother using that end.
Other Thoughts : I have this listed as one of my “couldn’t do without” tools. Use it on the glass edge, then use it on the flat of the glass after smoothing with your first for an incredible smooth foil. Your soldering lines will thank you for it.

Pros : Faster than dragging a burnishing tool, creates ultra-smooth finish, does a great job of flattening corners.
Cons : Not so good for heavily textured glass.

Pros : I tend to be heavy-handed when using a fid causing my foil to rip. This roller does a great job burnishing foil without tearing.

Pros : The foiler is especially useful for foiling textured glass with the different widths on the handle.
Cons : Would like to have a pointed end in order to get into those hard to adhere grooves.
Other Thoughts : If I'm not mistaken, the older design had a pointed end.

Pros : It does such a nice smooth job of getting the foil laid down on a piece!
Cons : I only have one...just ordered 2 more :-D
Other Thoughts : I happened to meet its inventor who has a wonderful shop in my area. Way to go!!!!!

Pros : Makes the foiling process faster and easier.
Cons : I wish the groove on the handle was shaped so it would smooth the wide edge at the same time it does the sides.
Other Thoughts : I really like this product. Smoothes down the foiled edges nice and flat and is much faster than using the fid. My roller works good and the size is much better than using the big clunky wallpaper roller that I used to use.
