Art Glass Festival Contest at the Delphi Creativity Center in Lansing, MI.
Each year the Delphi Creativity Center is transformed into an art glass wonderland filled with the creative artwork of our customers. With over 200 pieces of art on display and thousands of dollars in prizes, Art Glass Festival is truly one of the highlights of the year at Delphi Glass. All skill levels, from young artists or beginning crafters to studio artists, are encouraged to participate. This is the biggest event of the year at Delphi. We encourage everyone to stop by and see the exhibit which will run the entire month of April.

Submission Period: February 20, 2023 - March 24, 2023
Show Dates: Art Glass Festival Opens to the Public: April 1, 2023
Voting Period for People's Choice: April 1, 2023 - April 30, 2023
People's Choice Winner Announced: May 1, 2023
Submission: This contest is open to everyone. All skill levels, from beginning crafters to studio artists, are encouraged to participate. Limit of 3 entries per person with no more than 2 entries per category. Entries must be hand-delivered to the Lansing Creativity Center during regular business hours along with a completed
entry form, and must be picked up after May 1st.
Categories: Beads, Jewelry, Mosaics, Large Panels (larger than 2 sq. feet), Small Panels (up to 2 sq. feet), Suncatchers (1/2 sq. feet and under), Lamps, 3-D Specialties, Stepping Stones, Torchwork & Blown Glass, Kiln Formed Glass or Young Artist.
Prizes:
A jury comprised of three independent glass artists who have at least 10 years experience in their respective disciplines will award 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each of the categories. In addition, visitors to the Delphi Creativity Center will cast their votes for the "Best of Show" piece which we call the "People's Choice" award. Category winners will receive prizes.
Rules:
- Limit of 3 entries per person with no more than 2 per category.
- Entry can be an original design or from a published book or pattern. Please include pattern credit when submitting entries from published patterns.
- Delphi employees and family members are not eligible.
- Pieces shown at previous Art Glass Festivals (either online or the Delphi Art Glass Festival) are not eligible.
- No entry can be entered in both the Online Art Glass Festival and the Delphi Creativity Center Art Glass Festival.
- Any art glass piece qualifies for entry. Feel free to submit a flat panel, lamp, box, clock, jewelry, mosaic, fused or slumped work, etc.
- Items must be hand delivered to the Delphi Creativity Center during regular business hours during the submission period.
- You will receive a copy of the completed entry form as your receipt. You must have this form when you pick up your piece after the show.
- All pieces must remain on display for the entire month of April.
- After the show, items may be picked up during normal business hours between May 1, 2023 - May 15, 2023.
- Great care will be taken in the handling of all entries, but Delphi Creativity Center assumes no liability for loss or damage.
- Delphi Creativity Center reserves the right to photograph pieces for publicity purposes, or reject piece due to space limitations.
- Show is open to all ages and skill levels.
