3/16" Silver Backed Foil - 1.2 mil

Item# 5570

Smooth and sticky!, May 24, 2022 5 stars

Pros
Great adhesion and smooth base for solder. I decided to try this brand of foil from Delphi recently, and I will definitely purchase it again.

Cons

1/4" Copper Backed Foil - 1.5 mil

Item# 5562

Super-sticky!, May 24, 2022 5 stars

Pros
I had never tried this brand of copper foil, and I am very pleased with how super-sticky it is. Nothing worse than discovering foil failure upon completion of a project. I have shed many a tear as I have been forced to disassemble, clean, refoil, resolder, clean, patina and wax again. It's best to stick with an excellent brand and product like this, which specifically adheres so well to glass.

Cons

Rich colors, May 24, 2022 5 stars

Pros
So far, I like this variety of Oceana glass the most. The colors are rich, and the pattern is interesting. I plan to order a 12 x 12 sheet next time so that I don't run out so quickly.

Cons

Other Thoughts
Goes well with Silver Yellow and Dark Red, also by Oceana.

Must-have tool, May 24, 2022 5 stars

Pros
I am in love with this tool, which has ended my struggle with cutting straight edges and getting 90° angles. I have to remind myself that I shouldn't cut every piece of glass I own into strips just because I have this fun, precise tool. Not being a particularly handy person, I appreciated how simple it is to assemble and break down the strip- and circle-cutters.

Cons

Other Thoughts
The case this comes in is very handy and convenient. It's helpful to have this be easily portable.

Beautiful Glass, May 24, 2022 5 stars

Pros
I love this glass! Beautiful interplay of transluscency and opacity. This is one of my favorites by Youghiogheny.

Cons
None

Other Thoughts
Remember to score the smooth side rather than the textured side for more accurate angles and less wasted glass.

Best soldering iron, May 23, 2022 5 stars

Pros
I can't believe how much my soldering has improved since I got my Hakko. Excellent investment, and it is one of my 2 favorite tools! I love this soldering iron so much that I bought another one as birthday present for my dear friend/fellow stained glass hobbyist.
