Pros
Keeps fingers out of grinding wheel.

Cons
Glass slips in jaws with little pressure, especially when trying to grind small textured pieces. Tool can only be used until grinding wheel is adjusted to new position, then the wheel surface is too low to allow the use of the tool.

Other Thoughts
Tool would be more useful if clamping jaws were closer to the bottom of the product.

Pros
Comfortable to use, especially since it can be adjusted for different size hands. Requires much less effort than a pencil cutter, and allows, in my opinion, more control than a pistol grip cutter.

Cons
My only concern is that the cap tends to unscrew on my cutter, probably because I roll my cutter in my fingers so much.
