Bio

After retiring from a 37 year career as a teacher, I was looking for a hobby or a new activity to keep my mind active. It took me 8 years to finally decide that glass fusing was the activity. I learned about fusing from a class in Royal Oak, MI at the Creative Arts Studio. Glass fusing captured me and my soul. My dream was to own a glass kiln. In May of 2021 I got my glass kiln as a birthday gift from my fantastic husband. It took until July to get the kiln up and firing. At first, I was afraid of the kiln. So, I finally took a class at Delphi from Roy. Then, I had the confidence and excitement to fire up my kiln. I have not stopped experimenting and creating. I have failures and successes. I have transformed my basement into a glass art studio. I even have an art gallery displaying my art. So, I am a beginner fuser with a lifetime of learning to go. The journey has been the best and will continue on. Thank you, to my husband and Delphi for making my dream come true.

My plate fits in this stand perfectly. This stand is sturdy, well made, and stylish. It really shows off my plate beautifully. I have had many positive comments on the plate and stand. I will buy another one.		 Cons
