THE BEST GIFT TO GIVE!, January 2, 2009 5 stars
Pros
Maybe you know someone who is constantly shopping with Delphi, or you know someone who works with art glass in some shape or form and want to get them a gift they can use. So you come across the Delphi web page and suddenly you find yourself saying "I have no idea what any of this stuff is", GET THEM THE DELPHI GIFT CERTIFICATE! IT TRULY IS THE BEST GIFT OF ALL!
Cons
If you are a poor starving artist like me, it will be very painful to spend all your money on a gift for someone else and not have any money left for you to get anything. :^( But, in the end, you'll be glad you did it when you see the smile on thier faces!
Other Thoughts
If you are looking for a gift to give someone and they are interested in mosaics, jewelry, cremaics or any form of art glass, THIS is the gift to get them! I promise, they wont be disappointed!

Surprise endings!, January 2, 2009 4 stars
Pros
I've gotten some pretty neat effects from this glass and I always make sure I have some in stock! Final results range from a drippy wet silver to a very warm and natural shade of white.
Cons
None. Very easy to use.
Other Thoughts
Fun to use at a great price!
2 oz Gaia Double Helix Frit - 104 COE

2 oz Gaia Double Helix Frit - 104 COE

Awesome effects!, January 2, 2009 5 stars
Pros
Many of my more popular beads were made using Gaia frit, and I have fun using it every time! The striking effects are usually bluish in color, but there is a green cast that can be achieved and works great with colors like dark plum, pink, dark greens, browns, and everything in between!
Cons
The only "difficulty" that I have using Double Helix glass is remembering that each one strikes in different flame temperatures (i.e. very hot vs. cooler part of the flame)or for a more dramatic effect, the kiln will determine the final outcome. Some might consider this a con, but for me, I love happy accidents!
Other Thoughts
If you've ever felt "let down" by a specialty glass, Gaia frit will renew your interest in these types of glass. It is very easy to get cool effects with this glass.
