Great Inexpensive Set, February 20, 2010 4 stars

Pros
The set is great for a beginner like me. I was able to sand blast a perfect design in my glass without too much difficulty. Once I hooked this system up to a compressor instead of the canned air, it worked great! I couldn't have asked for any better.

Cons
The canned air is useless, save your money and use a compressor instead. The canned air becomes cold after just a short time (45 to 60 seconds) and then it looses pressure, you have to stop and wait for the can to get warm again before you can do anymore work. I found this infuriating! I threw the cans away and hooked the system up to a compressor instead.

Pros
I should have purchased this a long time ago! I am able to control the iron temp enough to successfully use several types of solder, including lead free. My solder lines immediately improved. Well worth the investment.

Cons
Can't think of any.

Pros
Exactly as pictured! This is truly a beautiful glass with very rich color. It was very easy to cut and work with. The glass added such depth and beauty to the project I used it in, I will certainly purchase more Youghiogheny glass.

Pros
I love this board. The system allows many configurations to be held firmly while soldering. It is lightweight and a good size to fit most of my work on.

Cons
I can't think of any.

Zephyr Replacement Blade

Pros
The blade was easy to replace in my saw. I got at least 2 months of fairly heavy use from just one blade.

Cons
Can't think of any.

Other Thoughts
I would like to see different sizes, cutting widths with this brand. It makes a rather wide cut so my pieces are perfect for lead came without compromising the pattern. When using copper foil, pieces are often to small and I have wide spaces to fill.

Pros
I am just learning how to work with lead came and I found this product easy to learn with. I was able to stretch it without too much difficulty and because it is small, it was more forgiving with my mistakes.

Cons
I ordered 10 pieces and they all came rolled together in 1 bag. Removing one piece turned into a tangled mess.

Morton Glass Caddy

Pros
Small enough to fit in my selving and big enough to hold 10 pieces of glass very neatly. I love to choose glass for a project and have it all together, organized, and ready to work with.

Cons
Only comes in one size. It would be nice to have a larger size with more slots.
