Bio

Yvette uses stained glass, tile, plates and found objects to create beautiful mosaics for the home and garden. Her mosaics reflect her love for animals (especially the Pembroke Welsh Corgi) and the great outdoors. Yvette is a self taught mosaic artist.

Pros
I have used this mold over and over and over again. I'm never disappointed in it's durability. It's sturdy and can take a beating if you forget to put mold release in it when you pour the cement!

Cons
none.

Other Thoughts
Since I sign my name and date the back of the stone, I put a piece of masking tape on the outside of the mold that says Bottom, so I know that when I sign it, it won't be upside down.

High quality and well made treasure box. Have decorated lots of these and have sold them all.

I can't think of anything to say negative about this box. I do wish they made one in an 8 or 9 inch size.

I toss out the flimsy board that comes with it and cut my own MDF board that is twice as thick. I wish the frame was a little sturdier.

Pros
I really like this for a quick make for a gift.

Cons
If your using stained glass for your mosaic, I recommend cutting a thicker piece of MDF for the substrate. While the one provided is OK for tile mosaics, it should be thicker for glass mosaics.
