Don't over fire if using a single sheet. Just a nice slump.

Pros
I have used other small casting molds with little to no success. I purchased this one when I saw the sample of the finished product and thought I would give casting molds another try. Man I am glad that I did. I replicated the red heart seen on this site, and wow, it really did turn out.

Cons
The earring are a little large, so I simply market them as smaller pendants.

Other Thoughts
I originally purchased small casting molds for my son to craft with me. Finally I am having some success. I was originally using frit, however with this mold I used small glass chunks that I cut and this seemed to work better for me. Still need to practice, but Love this mold with the spray release.

Pros
Love this product. Purchased it and it sat on my shelf for 2 years. Finally used it on a stainless steel mold for candle holders. I get 2-3 uses before I have to recoat. I had no idea you could use on ceramic molds....definitely will be trying that next! I am so glad that we can write reviews on here, because I am constantly reviewing the products I buy, and honestly this product has been a god send for me this christmas crafting season. It is either buy multiple molds to meet demand, or speed up the processing time buy using a product such as this. Great price too compared to other spray products.

Other Thoughts
Plan to use this on my fused bangle mold! The fusing paper is just way too difficult to use with this mold in comparison to the SLIDE!

I purchased this mold for making soap dishes. Just the right size for beginners, and looks great with handmade soaps for gifts!

Delphi Studio Holiday Cabochon Mold

Good mold for embelishments for larger projects. Mold releases well this primo kiln wash.

Cons
No real instruction on how much glass to use in this mold. Would be nice for first time users to have some project suggestions. Too small for ornaments and too large for jewelry.

Other Thoughts
Good thing I got it on sale. Thought it would be good for the kids to make gifts for Grandma. So I will give it another try. The failures are using up alot of my supplies, so it would have been nice to have instruction.

Earrings and Pendants Casting Mold

Pros
Love the shapes and the size of the mold. Great alternative to cutting fusing glass for earrings and pendants. As others have said, the glass removes easily fromt he molds with primo kiln wash.

Cons
No instruction on how much glass to put in the mold for desired effects. Would have been nice for some product suggestions for first time users. I need to spend some time on the net to see what others are doing with this mold.

Other Thoughts
Honestly I can get the same shapes with fusing and grinding pieces, not sure that I need the mold. Thought that it might speed up my production of jewelry pieces, but I have really only used it once as I wasn't satisfied with the final product. I will give it another chance.

Primo Primer Kiln Wash - 5 Lbs

All Pros, no cons. I have been using primo since I started over 15 years ago and wouldn't use any other kiln wash. I mix mine in a quart sealer and have marbles in the jar and had it sitting on a shelf for over a year, and the product was still excellent!!!

Pros
I have had my brush for approximately 10 years and I still love it. The hairs are starting to come out once in awhile, but I wouldn't live without it for apply kiln wash. It leaves and even coat, with little texture that will be picked up on the underside of your design.

Cons
None yet after 10 years.
