Glass Paper Scissors is about whimsical mixed media art. Working extensively with found items is like a giant jigsaw puzzle. It starts with a vision, ends with a story and is challenging and fun in the process. Glass Paper Scissors is a mindful concoction of found items...recycled glass, paper, fabric, metal foil and assorted organics like shells, dry flowers and stones.
Kolika has been working with custom glass art since she was 15 and over the years, this hobby has grown beyond glass and turned into a voice for eco consciousness, a social connection, and even her personal religion.
Her work portrays her faith in vociferous, utilitarian art and her belief that everyone deserves good design, hence, her creations are simple, rare and brimming with functional beauty, something you would actually use!
Glass Paper Scissors is as much about the ecological sustainability of creating as it is the economical sustainability of whimsical art shopping with enough wiggle room for the occasional indulgence.

I am making windows for my baby's nursery and wary about using leaded solder. Just wondering about the longevity/ strength of lead free solder. Can someone please advise? Also, the studio I rent space in has silver solder (?) I have never used that before. Any tips on how to make best use of that?
