Pros
I love this glass. I find that if you are careful when you cut and break the glass that there are really very few problems with the backing chipping. I use it in mosaic projects only, and I score it into tiny pieces. The backing combined with the clear glass on top gives it depth.

Cons
None really.

Other Thoughts
I would not use it with a grinder or in windows.

Pros
Beautiful glass --looks stunning in person. Easy to cut.

Cons
Black backing can flake, but if you cut carefully and break along the score it usually doesn't flake.

Other Thoughts
WELL worth the money for mosaic projects. Beautiful in the light--I mix with other mirror glass for beautiful results. Try a sheet!

Pros
All the van gogh glass make beautiful mosaics! I didn't know until I saw it in person how stunning this glass is.

Cons
The back CAN flake; however I've found that if you make good cuts and use your breakers directly on the score, they break much cleaner. Take your time to do it right, and the result is fine!!

Other Thoughts
I mix van gogh with a clear matching colored glass in mosaic projects for beautiful variations. (I found a good way to foil the back of clear glass that is cheap and easy, using plumbers metal tape.)
