Pros
Heats up really fast and holds temp well. Admittedly, I've been using a 30 year old iron - but this one is amazing

Cons
Only con so far is it has a little locking mechanism - don't know if I'll ever use. The key is really hard to keep track of, it doesn't store on the iron. I keep finding it in weird places and go "What the heck is this thing?" Then I notice it matching my iron and say "Oh yeah, I have to find a place to keep this in case I want to use it."
