Essential tool, August 9, 2012 5 stars
Pros
Great value for the money! I bought it when just starting out and see no need to upgrade. Does everything I need it to, and you can attach any bit needed!
Cons
The shield thing does not do much. I traded that out and just wear safety glasses.

Toyo quality, but odd design, August 9, 2012 4 stars
Pros
Great cutter for detail work. I use this mostly for those 'tricky' cuts that require a lot of control. This was the first cutter I ever purchased.
Cons
Not great for heavy or intensive use. My hand tends to cramp up quickly because of the un-natural grip. Also I cracked the plastic near the reservoir know because I put so much pressure on it. So now the oil tends to leak.

Best Cutter I've used!, August 9, 2012 5 stars
Pros
Ergonomic, comfortable grip. My hand does not cramp up at all when I am in 'production mode' and doing a lot of cut work. Gives smooth lines and does not require a lot of pressure. Refillable oil reservoir is a great feature!
Cons
Other Thoughts
I have tried this cutter, the pistol-grip, and the "thomas grip" styles. All have their unique purposes, but this particular design is a great for general purpose and frequent use.

Helpful, but Quirky, August 9, 2012 3 stars
Pros
Excellent aid in cutting even, accurate circles. This will surely be my best friend in my jewelry and ornament production. Very compact and, for the most part, easy to use.
Cons
The knob on the handle keeps falling out! I had to epoxy it in place. The screw did not appear stripped; not sure if I just got a flawed handle. Also, the cutter wheel itself tends to rotate out of alignment after a few uses. I have made it a routine to adjust alignment between circle scoring.
Other Thoughts
Another review here suggested to add a 'non-slip' surface to the base to keep your glass stable - This is INVALUABLE advice. I whole-heartedly agree!!
