Pros
This is my go-to saw! I have been using this saw for at least 15 years. With the different blades, I have cut 2mm, 3mm, and 6mm glass! I rely on my Taurus 3 Ring Saw more than any other tool in my shop. If this one ever has to go away, I’ll definitely replace it with another Taurus 3 with absolutely no hesitation. Also, the instruction video is a real treat to watch! I laughed a lot while watching and learning how to use it.

Cons
None for me!

Other Thoughts
I wish all my tools were as easy to use and maintain!

CrystalMaster Pro 12 Lap Grinder

Pros
Quick, easy. This lap grinder takes as much off as you want in a very short time. If you allow it, it will work hard for you, instead of you working hard. No pressure required!

Cons
When I purchased mine, the directions must have come from someone who thought you could read their minds. Fortunately I am mechanically minded.

Powder Enamel Assortment for Glass Fusing

Pros
For the price, the assortment of colors is great. I have been using these for several years now, and have made some beautiful pieces. As far as the COE, these don't have one and can be used on any glass.

Cons
As with all enamels, you have to keep a water supply handy as they dry quick, and it makes it difficult to keep a smooth line.

Other Thoughts
As with everything, trial and error is the way to go. Do some experimenting on small pieces of glass by making sample strips. This way you will have the colors and know how to use them. If you make your sample strips on clear, all you have to do is lay the clear strip on top of the color you want to put it on to know if it will be the right color.

Studio Pro Band Saw Replacement Blade

Pros
Have had my 3000XL for 5 years now and have used this blade consistently except for one time! The cheaper blade lasted about 1/4 as long as the premium blade. I have never had a premium blade break and by the time I am finished with it, there isn't any coating on it!

Cons
Wish it lasted longer!

Pros
The Toyo cutter is so far superior to the lesser expensive brand. I have used the same head for about 5 months now, and it still cuts like new. I will never go back.

8.5 oz Water Clear Transparent Medium Frit - 96 COE

Pros
This new medium frit is the best size for making night-lites. It doesn't take as much to fill a mold and adding pre-cut shapes is so easy.

Cons
If you want smooth edges, try a different size frit.

Other Thoughts
I would definitely recommend this to anyone who does cast fusing or "pictures in glass". My favorite size.

Gryphon Wet Belt Sander
