Bio

My name is Sheree Nimmo and I love fusion glass. I started in 2015 while in Arizona at our winter home and have enjoyed Fusion Glass so much that I opened my own studio in my home. I'm from Edmonton, Alberta, Canada and have been married since 1980 to my wonderful husband who has been my biggest supporter in my adventure into the fusion glass world. I have two beautiful daughters, two great son in law and four beautiful grandchildren. I started doing fusion for something to do and loved the way you could make your own bowls and plates and Jewelry. Since starting working with Fusion Glass I discovered that I love making Art Pieces whether for the wall or in stands being made of wrought iron or Wood (My husband does beautiful Woodworking so when I want a stand made of Wood he makes them for me) My favourite thing about fusion and the hardest part is coming up with what your next project will be. I have started a project and actually stood there staring at my piece of glass for half an hour thinking and trying different ways that it can be done. There are so many possibilities, that creating Fusion Glass is endless.
