Kitchen Tiles

I made approximately 300 tiles from recycled wine bottles for the backsplash in my kitchen. I used the Colour de Verre Tile Maker Casting mold for this project. Each tile was unique in color and final finish because of the bottles. Some were lumpy, some flat, some had holes. It was a lot of fun to see what would come out. At the end I started experimenting with multiple colors of bottle, which was fun.
