Stained glass design interpretation and construction: Kathy Joachim
300 pieces
When I constructed it in Stained Glass:
- Parts of the wings are presented raised as I have them coming out of the base of the glass.
- The texture side of the pieces are presented forward so it will display well at night
- The butterfly is free form and will hang so it will move slightly as wind hits it
- The flowers are raised as well.
- The face was painted to keep the beauty of what the artist created.
- The glass will be 22 by 28 inches with a two-inch wood frame.
With a ceiling spotlight, it should allow for a good display at night. Which the 2nd photo should show.
With great thanks to:
- Originating artist: Rachel Tallamy
- Face painted by: Joan King
