Childhood Dreams

This is a large 23.5" x 34.5" panel that I made in 2013.  The pattern is from Stained Glass New Designs by Christopher Martin and Jackie Estes.  I first saw this pattern in 1982 and it became my goal to complete this panel when I had the time, space and confidence to make it as perfect as I my skill allowed.  I am very pleased with the results.  Using black glass for the body of the horse causes the trappings to really show.  The curved top required patience with the zinc bender.  I love this piece and it is beautiful in all light.
