Painting with Glass on Glass

Colored and crushed glass is applied to clear sheet glass and kiln fired between 1350 - 1450 degrees. The process is repeated many times, usually 6-8, or until the desired effect is achieved. The mulitple layers is what achieves the painterly effect. I use spoon,sifters,squeeze bottle and my fingers instead of brushes.
