Stained Glass Panel "Mineralia"

Handmade stained glass panel with 100+ pieces. The clear glasses range from transparent to iridized to create a superb transmission of the light. The textures were varied from smooth to ripple, to give flow and motion. The rounded lead came was chemically treated to achieve a vintage touch.

The piece has American glass and Canadian lead came. The whole design and assembly were done at SoCal.

Inspiration:

Every culture has its own beliefs about minerals depending on their history, location and spiritual practices. But what it is impossible to deny is the fascination to admire their crystalline growth and array.

"Mineralia" represents a clear and transparent growth.
