Sam Andrew - Legendary musician of Rock & Roll

Sam Andrew, founder of the band that featured Janis Joplin as their lead singer (Big Brother & The Holding Company).  Life size face mask, made from a cast I did of his face. COmplete with eyelashes.  Kiln sculpted / kiln formed glass.  Float glass - 1/2" thick x 22" diameter.  Some sandblasting and then my Verre' Eglomise (TM) process and technique added.  Some areas are stained by hand, and then the entire piece has different types of real metal leaf (10k gold and 100% copper) inlaid (Native American style).
