Fractured Soul

Kiln cast float glass fired enamel colouring. Mounted on hard board with hand sawn scroll brackets.

Glass face 14x9x3, glass relief face. She rises from destruction from the storms of life, illness and disease. The pieces fused together through time,heat and careful deliberation to come out whole again but still fractured, still fragile. She wears the fractures,the scars proudly.Scars are badges of honor. She is the portrait of my struggle with cancer.
