This is a very cool pendant!  It has many layers of dichroic glass fused at least 4 times creating alot of depth in this piece.  The glass in the pendant underneath the clear glass cap actually looks like the glass is still molten.  The dichroic colors are hues of blues, greens, golds, pinks and purples.  This pendant is truly one-of-a-kind!  The base glass of the pendant is black art glass.  The photograph does not show the true beauty of this pendant.

Each piece is lovingly crafted in our smoke-free home studio. The glass is cut and multiple layers are added before heating to 1500 degrees in a glass-fusing kiln. Once fully fused, the pieces are annealed (cooled) for 6 to 8 hours. It is then ground to a final shape and “fire-polished”.

Through experimentation and "accidents," we have developed techniques that involve layering dichroic with other art glass, achieving vibrant colors, textures, depth and originality. The play of color as the pieces move in the light is remarkable. Each piece is one-of-a-kind and impossible to duplicate.

NOTE: Dichroic glass is the most difficult material to photograph. Each computer monitor shows items in a slightly different hue. A picture can never capture the beauty and sparkle of this magical glass. You will be amazed at the beauty of our pieces when you receive them.
