Farewell to Summer

This piece is about 12 x 18" in diameter and composed mostly of dichroic glass. All of the leaves were hand made separately or cast in a mold and subsequently fused to the base glass. There are approximately 30 individual leaves in this panel. The dragonfly which is about 8" wide was made and fused into the leave section of the art piece. Many hours of creation time went into making this art glass piece. The display stand is one of a kind created by a friend for this glass creation.
