Lady of Greal Depth - Mermaid Wall Hanging

This is a large, two layered fused glass mosaic portrait of a Mermaid in the deep sea.  It measures 21 inches by 53 inches.  The mermaid's body consists of Bullseye Sheet Glass fused with Bullseye Powdered Glass.  The face is molded of Bullseye Powdered Glass and painted with same.  Her tail and scales are of Dichroic and Iridized Bullseye Glass.  The maid is adorned with shells and coral beads.  The scene is mounted on tempered glass and recycled glass make up the rock, sea plants and background on both the first and second layers.   The seahorse and starfish are of Dichroic Glass.  The wooden frame is a "found" object.
