Citrus Peel - Fused Glass Cheese Plate

This fused glass cheese plate was created using a glass paste made by combining lemon, tangerine and lime colored glass frits with aloe vera gel and water. The paste was then applied to a clear sheet of glass in a unique design and then fired in the kiln. The piece was then placed on a white sheet of glass and edged with 2 strips of lime glass and fired for a second time. A thin layer of clear powdered frit was sifted over the entire piece and it was fired for its third and final time. Rubber bumpers are included on the back.
