Winter Wolf

Inspired by the wolves of Idaho and the passionate debate over control of the wolf population in the state. This piece was created in the dead of snowy, Idaho winter and cool shades of gray and blue-gray bring out the texture of the wolf's thick coat. The eyes were painted on clear glass to capture the creature's majestic gaze.
