Squawking Soirée

Deep in the heart of the Costa Rican Jungle, high above the floor, the birds (and a rogue chameleon) come to a caw-cktail party under the lush canopy.

When I started Fused glass work two years ago, I quickly realized how much I love to explore other worlds - above the trees, under the sea, etc. I hope one day to visit the jungle and see these gorgeous birds. In the meantime, I do my best to bring them to my home and my community through my art. While I love working on the saw, nipping for me makes the most realistic feathers I can manage in my fusing, and blends my love of mosaics with my love of fused glass.
