Renaissance Bloom

This panel piece uses bevels, clear glue chip, reedy, waffle and grid. Colors used are opalescent pink, green and black. Panel dimensions are 11" X 20".

I purchased a Delphi stained glass starter kit at the end of last year and this is my first attempt at stained glass again after 17 years. The bespoke design is inspired by my love of architecture and organic shapes, but also adding a flow through dimension to frame the outside world. Working with the bevels for the first time was different because of the difference in glass thickness. Re-teaching myself with the help of youtube video's for beading edges, the right temperature, the right width of foil in the right areas were all challenging. Over all as a first project I am happy with it but look forward to improvement with the next project.
