Pros : We've had some of these in our classroom for 18 years.
Cons : Once the blade is dull, it's basically done. I'd love to see the model adapted to replace the cutting wheel.
Other Thoughts : We've found that having the oil in the handle is just a status symbol. This guy works great.

Pros : We did a fusing workshop for beginners and these were simple, inexpensive, and worked well.
Cons :
Other Thoughts : I like to pair them with running pliers too snap the glass apart. Using the ball end might be trickier for beginners or young glass artists.

Pros : Comfortable grip, lightweight.
Cons : A little hard to control if your not used to glass cutting Takes a lot of pressure to use.
Other Thoughts : For a first time use of a glass cutter this was excellent. There will be changes made to how I use it later on but as I have nothing else to base it off of I loved this cutter & highly recommend it to a first time user.
