  •   Toyo quality, but odd design

Pros : Great cutter for detail work. I use this mostly for those 'tricky' cuts that require a lot of control. This was the first cutter I ever purchased.
Cons : Not great for heavy or intensive use. My hand tends to cramp up quickly because of the un-natural grip. Also I cracked the plastic near the reservoir know because I put so much pressure on it. So now the oil tends to leak.

Pros : Small and fits comfortably in your hand. Great maneuverability for those tricky cuts. Durable. Mine lasted 19 years and I'll be getting another just like it.

Pros : Do enjoy the grip on it but...
Cons : it broke in half right in the middle of oil holder. It might just be a fault in the plastic when it was made. Was not even using it when it broke. Just picked it up and it broke in two.

Pros : Useful for cutting small pieces
Cons : Feels odd in my hand. Also, it spins around easily which I don't really like. I prefer the pistol grip for regular cutting.

Pros : it rests in the back of your hand so that you can use your fingers for guiding only!
Cons : they need to reinforce the plastic threads for the oil chamber. after 3 years it was getting loose. they do that and it will be a 5 star. bought another one to replace first one.

Pros : this cutter lets you cut weird designs with ease because you are "right on top" of the cut. It's really smooth.Its less stress on the wrist because you are cutting with the palm of your hand.
Cons : its hard to find in a large dish of tools? In other words, no con.

Pros : easy of use. less user fatigue.
Cons : can be hard to control if you aren't paying attention
Other Thoughts : I've always had a problem with the traditional cutters. It got to the point that it was cutting into my finger where I was gripping it. So I decided to buy this cutter and I now no longer have that problem. It was much easier to use that I originally thought. I highly recommend it.
