Pros : Mega blade, mega cut density. Great blade for thick fired pieces of glass. Personally have only cut up to 6-8 mm thick glass, but can't see why it wouldn't cut for example pattern bars. As all diamond blades, they are best when first installed. Suggest bigger projects or thicker glass be cut first when you install a new blade. Much sharper and faster. But depending on how much you actually cut, can last a decent time period. The blade is hard to break, very sturdy. I've used Taurus 10+ years and only broke 3. Two of which I used so long that I had to push with great force to cut through the glass and the force actually broke the blade (guess I wore off all the diamonds :)). The other time, I was pretty novice and tried to make too many intricate turns too fast. Makes good straight cuts, recommend blade stabilizer be used on older model saws. Helps to keep the cut straight. Can make intricuts, straighter is better and slower is better than faster (movement).
Cons : No diamond blade at these prices last long enough, right? Only slightly harder to install than the round blade.
Other Thoughts : I'm a Taurus user and never had any other saw. So I have no comparison to saws or blades. I own two.
