Pros : Quick grinding. Less work and finger/hand fatigue
Cons : To much pressure could chip glass
Other Thoughts : Love them to grind large area

Pros : Put on this bit for your initial shaping, especially for bowls, plates. Does tend to chip - so be mindful of your line and switch to a finer bit when you are near the line. Saves hours of time!
Cons : If you don't use a finer bit, you will have to increase the temperature because your glass will have chips. Bye Bye perfect circles with crisp edges!
Other Thoughts : Remember to wear eye protection and also consider wearing a face shield and use an extra large grinder shield for safety.

Pros : Great deal for price and power. I am glad I bought these. I am still on my first bit after 5 projects--some which required extensive grinding.
Cons : It seems that now the first bit is wearing fast.
Other Thoughts : Will buy again.
