Pros : I like the pliers, they have a solid feel to them. I have another pair that is smaller (different brand) that feels a bit flimsy. So these are my favorite.
Cons : The plastic covers do wear out rather quickly, but after all we are talking about breaking glass with sharp edges.

Pros : Strong tool.
Cons : The pads get destroyed in a day, and this goes for the replacement pads as well. This product needs a stronger covering for the jaws. I repeatedly risk chipping glass because of this.

Cons : hard to use on textured glass
Other Thoughts : I haven't quite figured out the adjustment screw, so that might help. I find it hard to use sometimes with textured glass, but that could just be me. I like this tool and the price is right!
