Materials:
  • Yellow Transparent Glass
  • Light Amber Transparent Glass
  • Pale Amber Transparent Glass
  • Bumble Bee Pre-Cut
  • Ultimate Fuser's Glass Cutting Station
  • 60/40 solder
  • 7/32” copper backed foil
  • Copper Patina
  • Basic stained glass tools

1. Cut the glass into hexagons using the provided pattern.
2. Arrange the hexagon shapes into the size and shape of your choosing.
Delphi Tip: Take a picture of your pattern so that it's easier to put back into place once foiled.

3. Foil each piece using a copper backed foil.
4. Arrange the now foiled shapes back into your original pattern. Apply flux to the area before soldering.

5. Solder all joints and edges on both sides. Tin all outer edges.
6. Clean off all residual flux. Using a brush, work the copper patina over the solder.

7. Tack solder the bee.
Delphi Tip: The bee and the honeycomb panel should be patinated separately before tack soldering.This ensures all solder lines are fully patinated.
