Superior Quality, Superior Strength
Delphi Superior Foil features strong, heat-resistant adhesive and is thicker than standard foil. Superior Foil is less likely to tear when working on inside curves, yet still burnishes smoothly and easily. Silver backed foil is ideal for projects using transparent glass or for projects where solder seams wil be left silver. Foil measures 3/16" wide and 1.25mm thick. Sold in a 108 foot roll. 

Delphi Tip: Choosing the Correct Foil
When using transparent glass and bevels, choose your foil based on the color of your solder seams. See additional images for a visual example.

  • Choose copper backed foil if using a copper patina
  • Choose silver backed foil if you are leaving your solder silver
  • Choose black backed foil if you are using black patina
