Pros : This will definitely strengthen a stained glass window.

Cons : It is wider than a lot of glass is thick, and so sticks up beyond the glass and makes it difficult to get a smooth solder line.

Other Thoughts : I used it when using copper foil; maybe it works more easily with lead came?
