Product Description

Coldworking just got easy - simply load, start, and walk away! The weights apply the pressure for you. Simply monitor and adjust as needed. Vibrating action replaces circular motion used by conventional lapping machines. Kit includes the Silicon Carbide Grits you need, so you're ready to go.

The heavy powder-coat metal base will keep your Vibrating Lap from drifting on your workbench. Rubber-buffered posts support the motor, allowing smooth operation and minimal transfer of vibration. The 16" Cast aluminum pan features a grooved bottom surface to help keep slurry evenly distributed during use, and releases easily from the tool base to make cleanup a snap. The powerful, quiet motor will last for years of steady use. 1 year manufacturer warranty (excludes pan).

Kit Includes:

  • Bumper ring
  • Silicone carbide - 4 grits
  • Cerium oxide - 1 lb
  • Polishing pad
  • 2 Weights

  •   A good solution

Pros : No effort is needed. This solved my problem holding on to bowl with exterior texture
Cons : It has to be on a level surface and vibrates so can move off leveling shims.
Other Thoughts : Sold by the Delphi video. When I went to set it up the video again helped with issues because the instructions are not detailed.

My commuting jacket is drying over a kitchen chair, and the cat has come down off the workbench to sniff the sleeve with deep suspicion. Fair enough. Theres a stripe of brown grit up the back, the kind wet roads and mashed leaves throw up all autumn. That grit ends up on brakes too. So heres a short pre-winter check for Defiant riders. Im working from general technique and the JupiterBike product listings, not from my own bike. Why autumn chews through brake padsQuick jargon check. On a disc brake, a metal disc called the rotor is fixed to the wheel hub. Two pads squeeze it to slow you down. They sit in a caliper, the clamp that straddles the rotor.Wet roads carry grit and leaf mush onto the rotor. When you brake, that grit gets trapped between pad and rotor and works like sandpaper, so the same commute wears pads faster
