Popular in many glass studios, this is a great workhorse kiln that has become the "studio standard". Its size seems to fit the needs of most artists and studio owners: small pieces can be loaded in volume, while relatively large pieces will also fit. An excellent kiln for fusing, slumping, painting, pate de Verre, and even annealing. Features the built-in Set-Pro temperature control. This kiln is equipped with a solid state relay. Solid state relays have a much longer life span than traditional manual/mechanical relays. They are also much more energy efficient. Relying on a semiconductor instead of the electromechanical relays means no clicking sound when running.
