Pros
The glass is regular thickness and works well as the base glass on large projects. It gives just a hint of difference as background. It cuts great.		 Cons
Can't think of any.		 Other Thoughts
This is a staple in my glass inventory. I don't use it for every project, heaven forbid, but it really fills a lot of areas where you don't want see thru but don't want the background taking over.

I have used my Power Max II for about 6 years. Pros: This is a tremendously powerful machine --- you can really "lean on it" without apparent harm. In all, an excellent mid-range grinder. My primary needs are power and durability and this machine definitely provides them.		 Cons
Cons: The grinder is very messy. It throws a lot of water all over.

Shield scratches from water/glass spray very easily. In short time, is nearly impossible to use. 		Other Thoughts
Use a stand with clear float glass. Works very well
