Bio

I am a full-time professor and a part-time glass artist from Scottsdale, Arizona. I have always loved the way that light plays off of glass and was hooked the first time I took a stained-glass course. A fellow artist subsequently encouraged me to take a fused glass course, which solidified my passion. I only use the highest quality opalescent and translucent glass in my pieces. I tend to choose brilliant colors with eye-catching shading, textures, and patterns, and I experiment with different techniques to capture light reflections. Many of my pieces reflect my love of the natural environment from the desert to the ocean. My work includes jewelry, functional items, and decorative pieces. I also have many Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired stained glass panels. I have sold my work to clients from New York to Colorado and have received a number of commissions for custom works.
