Bio

My stained glass passion started in my youth and has been with me for over 70 years. While I’ve enjoyed many other craft hobbies including sewing, painting, jewelry and yarn projects I always come back to stained glass. I enjoy making my own patterns and have filled my garden with lovely panels for the sun to shine through.

Looks like Fall, May 9, 2022 5 stars
Pros
Easy to cut. Large sheet allows for longer pieces for directional pattern.
Cons
This glass has a clear vertical pattern so keep this in mind for your project.
Other Thoughts
I used this glass as a background on a panel with a Stag deer standing in the woods with great results. It adds a pop of color and brought dimension to my piece. Loved the shuttle black striations.

Great Product-Give it a Try, May 9, 2022 5 stars
Pros
Very easy to use, cut to size. Large size gives you several projects use. With plastic coated pattern under the mesh its very easy to align mosaic pieces without getting a wiggly pattern.
Cons
Be sure to cut the mesh along a straight line on all sides if that is what your design requires.
Other Thoughts
This mess allows one to obtain a straight line for tile placement. Place pattern (drawn in heavy marker) under plastic wrap, then place mesh on top. Tape all to piece of cardboard. Use small amounts of glue on tiles during assembly. Once all tiles have been placed cover project with a second cardboard, flip over and carefully lift mesh and tiles off the plastic wrap, let inverted mosaic dry upside down until ready to grout.

Beautiful Orange, May 9, 2022 5 stars
Pros
Easy to cut, beautiful deep orange with striations make this glass an eye dropping favorite. Large sheets allow for cutting larger pieces if patten flow is desired.
Cons
Other Thoughts
I used this Orange Pearl along with the Pink and Lavender version for a piece I entered in the AGF 2022 contest with winning results. The Oceanside line has allowed me to produced outstanding results with each of the variety of colors adding a vibrant effect in all of my projects.
Van Gogh Green, Copper and Gold

Van Gogh Green, Copper and Gold

Item# VG189
Beautiful, May 9, 2022 5 stars
Pros
Cuts like butter and the color is very rich.
Cons
Need to cut as close to pattern as possible as sanding should be minimized.
Other Thoughts
The green, gold and copper color combination is very striking and adds a level of richness to my projects. I used this for a border on a large mosaic and it turned out fantastic, adding depth and richness to my piece. I have also used several other colors of the Van Gogh line with great success.

Victorian Bliss, May 9, 2022 5 stars
Pros
This glass cuts easily and the sheet size is a bonus. Adds an interesting texture to any project, very beautiful.
Cons
Need to be aware of the pattern alignment if you need to match the design from a piece next to one another for continuity.
Other Thoughts
I’ve used this clear tapestry to add texture and interest on many projects both as a border and a background with great results. The pattern is large enough to clearly see the pattern but not so large that it becomes “lost” on smaller pieces.
