  •   Great Product-Give it a Try

Pros : Very easy to use, cut to size. Large size gives you several projects use. With plastic coated pattern under the mesh its very easy to align mosaic pieces without getting a wiggly pattern.
Cons : Be sure to cut the mesh along a straight line on all sides if that is what your design requires.
Other Thoughts : This mess allows one to obtain a straight line for tile placement. Place pattern (drawn in heavy marker) under plastic wrap, then place mesh on top. Tape all to piece of cardboard. Use small amounts of glue on tiles during assembly. Once all tiles have been placed cover project with a second cardboard, flip over and carefully lift mesh and tiles off the plastic wrap, let inverted mosaic dry upside down until ready to grout.

  •   Great product

Pros : The mesh works great for larger projects. I drew my pattern on paper which I covered with saran wrap on a cutting board. I was able to see the pattern through the mesh and apply my tiles.
Cons :
Other Thoughts : If you overuse the glue, don't put it under water - all the tiles will come off! Be sure to control the glue so it doesn't come up between the tiles.

  •   Review Mosaic mesh
By on
Pros : My first use of mesh. Works great!! Up until now, I generally used indirect application via contact paper. This allows you to put the mesh over a pattern, draw the pattern on the mesh (with sharpie) then attach mosaic pieces with Weldbond or some other moderate nontoxic glue. Once you have the pieces glued to the mesh, you can lay the whole thing onto a prepared surface all at once.
Cons : No cons noted. A great timesaver and reasonable for its value. Give it a try.
Other Thoughts : When glueing pieces to the mesh, be sure to have a slick paper under the glue areas so it doesn't stick too much when done.
