Works perfectly in the Firebox8. Kiln wash was no problem to add. Did it's job perfectly in the Kiln.

Assists in making cool pendents without the need for a bail which adds to the beauty and character of your finished piece Inexpensive to use Easy to use - pretty much failproof

Other Thoughts
being a beginner, I am constantly surprised by the many supplies available for glass fusing. The twisted fiber rope is perfect for creating awesome pendents! The product works VERY WELL with the Microwave kiln!!!!!!! A little bit goes a LONG way!

It really does assist in making a clean break Assists in safety in that I feel it reduces the risk of getting cut by glass pieces

This has really helped my with my glass cutting. I am able to get cleaner breaks. Prior to my purchasing this item I would always hope that my glass would come close to the shape I needed.

Pros
Very easy to use Excellent results Great for beginners who want nice pieces without the big expense. Fantastic way to practice so you can move into a bigger kiln Buy it!!!!! What do you have to lose

Cons
Can be a bit tricky at first but don't let this fool you!!!!! A bit pricey, but then again, I think it is unique and good technology

Other Thoughts
I LOVE this kiln. I am a beginner in the glass bead making community. Having made some real cool pieces with my hot head, I thought I would try this. I am getting awesome results and starting to build my stock for some spring and summer art shows. You really can't make a mistake because even the mistakes turn out cool. I have a dedicated microwave that I just use for my glasswork. Don't let this bother you. You can pick one up for little money at a rummage sale or a resale shop. I can't say enough good things about this kiln.
