Bio

Dr. Heather L. R. Fountain is a Professor at Kutztown University of Pennsylvania in the Department of Art Education and Crafts. She earned her degrees from Purdue University, Harvard Graduate School of Education and The University of Maine. She has a long history as an artist, showing her work in state, regional and national shows. Over the past 15 years her work has consisted mostly of kiln formed glass; more recently she has been enameling and casting unique pieces of glass to use in her own original pieces.

Tends to be a bit tricky to cut at times, not always breaking as you planned

Other Thoughts
It is a striking color so be aware that the beautiful edges where the two colors meet will turn a chocolate brown.

This beautiful mold aids and quickly creating a detailed sunflower that is versatile and can be used in many ways from a birdfeeder, to a wall hanging, or even a garden stake.

Cons
The only con is that you really need to pay attention to fill weight.
