Bio

Gabriele has been working with stained glass, primarily copper foil method, for 10+ years. You'll find her pieces on exhibit for sale, along with other local artists, at the Log Cabin Gallery in Peninsula, Ohio's Cuyahoga Valley National Park. More recently, Gabriele is working with copper foil overlay and would like to work more with fusing and painting and other areas of glass in the future.

Very nice red, flows nicely between dense and clear areas. I was able to use this for my cardinals, and I painted the solid areas but used more clear areas for areas meant to be seen through. It was exactly what I was looking for

I couldn't bear to cut the piece up so I incorporated some gemstones and made a panel using the whole 12 x 12" piece.

Very nice pieces in this cluster. I drew a pattern for this and it worked very nicely, although a little hard to line up.

I wish a pattern would have been included.

Sea King & Sea Horse Bevel Clusters

Pros
Beautiful GST clusters, as always. This one is particularly nice, since there are two to work with. I was a little surprised there were very few pieces to the large one; however, I used the beautiful pattern accompanying the kit, ordered some gemstones and got very creative with the piece. I used a gemstone for the eyes in both.

Other Thoughts
I used Kokomo head glass as a border and cut a broken nautilus seashell with my ring saw to use for two of the circles. The pattern allows you to come up with many options.

Very reasonably priced cluster. The pieces fit nicely. Lots of compliments and sold this right away at a show.

Cons
Star definitely would not adhere if you intend this to be a stand alone ornament.

Other Thoughts
I hung the star with a hook from the top instead and it worked great!

Pineapple bevel Cluster

This cluster fit nicely together. It was easy to make a nice panel around it for sale at a reasonable resale price point.

Other Thoughts
Reasonably priced--I purchase most of my clusters with the intention to sell so price point is definitely a factor
