Must have, June 3, 2013 5 stars
Pros
The main point that takes this product miles away from the steel wool is that it does not leave rapidly oxidating micro particles on your project. And this is especially important if you use drapery or granite ripples or other delicate glass. Also it works excellent if you need to remove old patina, repair the item or fix the problems of the soldering. Yes, it will not last for years. Yes, may look expensive, but it is the the professional small thing - does its job without creating any in addition.
Cons
None

Uroboros green, red-orange, pumpkin with brown highlights

Item# U60-38
One of my favorites, April 1, 2013 5 stars
Pros
It's all in there - autumn leaves and vibrant tropical flowers. Big pumpkin or red sun that dropsin the forest. All you need is to see where you need this beatiful combination of warm orange that goes through the autumn red leaves to the lovely light green.
Cons
It is not cheap. But it it fair if you pay a bit more for what others do not have.
Other Thoughts
I think some complains regarding the problems to cut Uroboros glass and other stuff that it is not transparent enough come from certain misunderstanding of the nature and intended use of this glass. It will never sparkle in a suncatcher like Spectrum waterglass. It will never be so soft and easy to cut as Bullseye thins. This is the true Art glass that opens itself to the person who is hardworking enough to find the right composition and right light for it. And it really deserves more efforts to make it work for your ideas and projects.

It's doings what's it supposed to do, June 3, 2012 5 stars
Pros
For a project I needed opal glass nuggets from 10 to 15 mm (approximately) and the ready-made were not quite good - limited colors do not allow to create "shadowed" realistic effect. With this small kiln I solved my problem easily. Allows to make 3-5 nuggets at a time even with the simplest microwave I used - 650 watts or so. It's simple, handy, inexpensive and allows to create some small but interesting details for a stained glass project if you need something like a bud or a bee and do not want (or there is just no space) the soldered lines.
Cons
None so far.
